Kalimaya Dive Resort
– East Sumbawa
Almost every little place on earth seems to be established, discovered and explored – this speaks for above and below the water level…
We have been fortunate enough to find one of those last untouched places, in the heart of Indonesia – right on the doorstep to one of the most exciting new dive destinations on our planet – East Sumbawa, West of Komodo.
After a long and adventurous building time, we can now proudly announce the opening of our boutique beachfront resort: Kalimaya Dive Resort is the perfect patch of dive paradise.
Located just 20 minutes from the port of Sape, and 1 hour from the airport of Bima, sits a 400m private bay housing 6 beachfront bungalows. Kalimaya Dive Resort is in the hottest new dive location, previously untouched and undiscovered.
Our preliminary exploration dives have uncovered: A Manta Cleaning station 5 minutes by boat from the resort. A Japanese ship wreck lying 5m – 20m on our house reef. Too much macro to list! Accessible dive locations include Sangean Volcano and its active bubble streams, Gili Banta and its high volatage action dives and West Komodo, land of the roaming dragons and its coral filled, lagoon style reefs.
Get to the reefs in timely style, via our speedboat, return to the resort and sip a cool post dive beer in our freshwater pool, dine on exquisite meals in our beautifully decorated restaurant, sleep under a blanket of stars in your air conditioned bungalow and wake to gorgeous sunrises full of copper, pink and yellow. Sleep, Eat, Dive repeat.
Enjoy 3 nights including all meals, scuba diving and transfers at a rate of EURO 750. Additional nights are charged at EURO 200 per night. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required.
